Ice Sculptor Freezers

Our client in Widnes, Glacial Art, moved into new larger premises and enlisted our skills to supply, fit & commission two new freezer rooms to facilitate their ice sculpting projects. They even did a special carving for us!

“KGA Coldrooms fitted two new walk in freezers last year at our new Ice sculpting studio. We create ice sculptures for events and were moving to a new premises. After 19 years with our old freezers we fancied an upgrade.

We shopped around, and found KGA Coldrooms. They were competitive on price , look the part and Alex seamed to get how crucial the freezers were to our business. He helped design them so we got the maximum amount of space in our new premises, and was very useful in recommending the right features that would work best for our needs, including sliding doors to maximize space and stainless steel ramps. We were limited on space outside for the condensing units but again Alex did a site visit before the instillation and found the best place to install these.

There  were a few delays in our premises move but again Alex and his team were very understanding and accommodated the changes stress free.

Since the instillation they’ve been running great. As they are essentially my office, they look great and are a nice place to spend my sculpting days. Whenever clients visit, we are proud to show them around with the two freezers being a pride and place feature of our new location.
